I have stayed here many times and do so because the motel is consistently good, I have never had a bad experience!

The location is perfect, as it is close to parks, shops, and the main route. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable furniture. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the guest laundry was free of charge, which was very convenient for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and even gave us a delicious plate of slice on our last night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was warm with the option for extra heating if needed. The breakfast was nutritious and served promptly, and the spa in the bathroom was a nice touch. the service and quality of this place were top-notch, and we highly recommend it!

I absolutely adored the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of The Suites Ashburton. The decor had a lovely touch of elegance, with beautiful wood furnishings and soft, warm colors. The common areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior, I also appreciated the hotel's excellent accessibility. The hallways were wide enough for my walker to navigate easily, and the staff was always ready to assist me whenever I needed help. Their attentiveness made me feel safe and cared for throughout my stay.

If I could ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people like myself, it would be to have grab bars installed in the bathrooms. These little additions can go a long way in ensuring extra support and stability, especially for those with mobility issues.

The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help us. Extremely good value for money, easy to find, clean and tidy. We would definately stay there again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel for a night. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The hotel was extremely clean and well-maintained. The location was near the racecourse on the side of highway 1 and in between to parks, making it convenient for me to explore this city.

Had a great Xmas stay! the location is perfect, right off the highway with easy access to everything we needed. the hotel was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a fully-equipped kitchenette which allowed us to cook a nice Xmas dinner. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and activities.

Great experience during our New Year’s Eve stay! The room was lovely and clean with a big bathroom featuring a spa bath that was perfect for soaking and winding down after a long day out. We appreciated the accommodating staff who made our late arrival easy and hassle-free. The location was convenient as there was a large hotel nearby for our food and drinks needs. Plus, the owner gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner and even promised us a discount at the restaurant. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept soundly. a pleasant stay!

We could hear a bit of traffic noise outside, but it didn’t disturb our sleep too much. Would have been nicer to be in a quieter location, but the benefits of the motel definitely made up for it.
